Good Afternoon!
Since I took up so much of your time with my e-mail, this will be short. Ask your student about our day. Here are some phrases to jog their memory: Robert E. Lee's character, important civil war battles and where they mostly occurred, listening to the Rebel Yell!, presenting our map to the school, can our Mom have the faith necessary to save us, Addie, the struggle within ourselves between doing right or wrong, etc.
For next time:
1. Read chapter 15 in the Bible Story Book.
2. Practice memorizing Week 7 memory work
3. Read Chapters 1--5 of Shades of Gray.
4. Read/Skim chapters 6 & 7 of SOTW. (As I get your responses to my e-mail, this may change.)
5. Complete Lesson 5 in your Latin book. (Again, I'll let you know over the weekend but you may need to write lesson 6's vocab and meanings 3 times on Monday October 19.)
Make good use of this dreary weather and get lots of quality reading done!
