Dear Families,
I'm sorry to be posting my blog so late. We had a good Tuesday.
I am concerned about behavior and kindness to our friends. I will be addressing this with the children next time. I will contact any of you individually if I feel there is a need.
We acted out some history events. Ask you child which South American country they played. We tasted some yummy oatmeal and then some watery gruel like Will (from our lit book) had to eat. We went outside and hauled a bucket of water like Meg had to do every day. We began our study of the human body and colored our brain and looked at pictures from my ancient World Book encyclopedia. We had some technical difficulties so we didn't go far in our memory work. I plan to not go further next time and spend a week in review of the first eight weeks.
Fall is a busy time at my house. As always, I appreciate you and your children praying for me as I lay plans for our class.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. read chapter 17 in Bible
2. review week 8 memory work
3. read chapter 6--11 in Shades of Gray
4. skim/read chapter 8 and 9 in SOTW
5. complete lesson 6 exercises in latin. On Monday, write the latin words and their translation from lesson 7 three times each.
